Cura (Latin): “means of healing, guardianship, care, guidance, cure, object of love, management, attention, trusteeship, watchfulness”
Kuda (Indonesian): “horse”
Our name represents the core intention that lives within every relational experience we offer, and every operational decision we make.
How can we grow a life, and an organization, that can be of service to, and honor, the intelligence and wellbeing of the Earth, the Horse, and the Soul?
This is the question that manifested CuraKuda, and that guides us step by step.
CuraKuda is a purpose-guided organization cultivating relational, restorative and transformational experiences that nurture connection and cultivate resilience.
Attuning with the herd, we practice embodied presence, deepening our natural capacity to flow and evolve authentically with all that exists within the unknown.
Occasionally we (the founders, Greta and Alejandro) are called back into the wild depths of the Earth to travel slowly with the horses across landscapes that draw us out beyond ourselves. We call these Long Rides, or the Long Quiet.
These journeys are lifelong sage-guides for us as we wholeheartedly engage and relate with the world and this work. They are internal, immersive experiences, that require space and time for digestion and integration (which are vital elements we also build into our programs).
Currently, we are in the midst of integrating our most recent Long Quiet across a remote region of Patagonia, walked in partnership with our 1.5 year old daughter Sofía Alegría, and four of our horse herd anam caras (soul friends): Blacky, Salvador, Pichi and Zalig.
Later in 2024, we will be re-opening the channels for connection, sharing more through written and recorded posts, and programming more experiences with our herd in Patagonia and several others across the world.
As resonance weaves our paths together, we look forward to having you join us, where together we adventures across our wildest inner and outer landscapes.
